Ford has donated a custom Transit Van to support the Salvation Army's disaster relief efforts in southeast Michigan, Ford has announced.
Ford will donate five Transit Connect cargo vans to select organizations that provide hunger relief services. The vans will help these organizations give to those in need during the upcoming holiday season and through the rest of 2015.
The Salvation Army has been serving meals to homeless men and women using a donated Ford Transit van that's been equipped as a mobile kitchen for the non-profit group, Ford has announced.
