FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- Hal Booth, senior vice president of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Fleet Advantage, died Saturday, Dec. 22. The news was announced to colleagues by Fleet Advantage President and Chief Executive Officer John Flynn, a longtime friend and business partner who had worked with Booth for more than 20 years.

“Hal was a giant among men, widely known and respected among his industry colleagues, and a great friend and trusted partner,” said Flynn. “He will be in our hearts forever and remembered for his integrity, professionalism, and good humor.”

Prior to Fleet Advantage, a truck fleet business analytics and equipment financing company, Booth was senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Rockwell International and joined the truck leasing business with Flynn at First Fleet Corporation in 1995.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mental Health Association of Southeast Florida (www.mhabroward.org.), an organization Booth and his wife Sandy generously supported through fund raising and community support for the past 10 years.
