OSKALOOSA, IOWA – Kelderman has now developed both air and non-air lift kits for the 450 Ford Super Duty. The more affordable non-air system provides coil spacers, a new Kelderman designed pitman arm, panhard bar drop, lower trailing arm brackets, steering stabilizer kit, shock adapters, and all hardware.

Matched with the non-air rear kit option that includes blocks, u-bolts, brake lines, and all hardware, the truck can run a larger 35” tire. This system can be purchased separately or together, and does not include shocks. The rear non-air system retails for $300 and requires 2 Bilstein 5150 shocks. The front non-air system retails for $1,500 and requires 2 Bilstein 5150 shocks and 2 steering stabilizer shocks, both available through Kelderman as add-on options.

For cab comfort, easier loading, and towing capacity, Kelderman offers the 4” air ride in the rear, or both in the front and rear. With no loss to load capacity, Kelderman offers two rear air options that can be matched with either air or non-air front systems.

The 2-stage manual fill rear system fastens to the frame and replaces the factory hitch. The bottom swing arm bolts to the rear of the leaf spring allowing the truck to ride considerably smoother. The kit includes air bags, upper framework, bottom swing arm, 2-1/2” receiver hitch, and all hardware. The 4-link manual fill rear system replaces the factory leaf springs and includes air bags, trailing arms, side plates, axle brackets, rear panhard bar, and all hardware. Controls are separate with both systems.

The 2-stage rear kit retails for $1,600. The 4-link rear kit retails for $3,250.

Both the 2-stage and the 4-link rear work equally well with Kelderman’s front air ride conversion kit that is sold with air bags, bag mounts, pitman arm, panhard bar drop, lower trailing arm brackets, steering stabilizer kit, two shock adapters, and all hardware. The front air ride kit retails for $2,750.

Options to operate the front or front and rear air system can be solved with Kelderman’s remote AccuAir control system. This kit uses heavy-duty VIAIR 400C compressors, two tanks, and comes with the ECU brain, sensors and manifold to keep the truck level, regardless of the payload, and is priced at $3,000.

A self-leveling kit is also available for $850 that works in tandem with both the 4-link rear and the 2-stage rear kit. Designed with a dump feature, this kit includes a compressor mounted in a weather resistant box, dump valve, control panel, 3 gallon tank, and height control valve. All kits include all necessary hardware components, bolts, and easy to read instructions, and are backed by a strong warranty and technical support.
