ISELIN, NJ – BASF Catalysts, a provider of diesel emissions control technology, has launched www.dieselretrofitdaily.com — a new, Web site featuring updates on diesel retrofit technology, programs, regulations, and funding, as well as online discussions about cleaning emissions from existing diesel trucks and buses.

Dieselretrofitdaily.com provides news on diesel retrofit programs — such as the technology used, funding sources, and results — and allows site users to share their knowledge by posting comments and questions. The site also offers users the option to sign up for an RSS feed to receive retrofit news delivered to their desktops as soon as it is posted on dieselretrofitdaily.com.

Additional opportunities for education and dialogue are planned. Upcoming events include a survey of school transportation officials that will investigate their efforts to cut emissions from diesel school buses. This is the first in a planned series of surveys of various constituencies interested in reducing diesel pollution. Results will be posted on www.dieselretrofitdaily.com and visitors to the site will be able to comment on the findings.
