Peterbilt Motors Company took advantage of the stage provided by the 39th World of Concrete to highlight its new products. The annual international event, which is dedicated to commercial concrete and masonry construction industries, took place this week at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

On display was the new, lightweight aero Model 579 day cab tractor, featuring the PACCAR MX engine. The 2.1 meter-wide day cab design will have a lightweight bulk haul configuration.

Also featured at the show was the Model 320 low cab forward equipped with a Fuller transmission, a Hendrickson HMX suspension, and a Schwing concrete pumper body.

Two Model 365 trucks were displayed, one featuring a set-back front axle configuration and a McNeilus mixer and a second with a set-forward front axle configuration, the PACCAR MX engine and a Con-Tech mixer body. The rugged and versatile Model 365 can be spec’d with a wide variety of heavy-duty components to improve ride and handling, enhance weight distribution and maximize performance and profitability, according to the company.
