Head-to-Head: Chevrolet 4500 Versus Ford E-450

June 21, 2012

DETROIT – While comparing vehicle specs can go a long way to helping fleet managers make a decision about the best vehicle for a fleet, going head-to-head in real-world conditions can make difference and similarities, advantages and disadvantages crystal clear.

GM Fleet and Commercial recently put its Chevrolet 4500 head-to-head with Ford’s E-450. The 4500 was equipped with a V-8 and the E-450 with a V-10. Both vehicles weighed exactly seven tons.

GM put the vehicles through a series of tests, and recorded the results. View the video below.
