Bridgestone Americas Inc.

Bridgestone Americas Inc. has added the Blizzak LT to its premium winter tire line. Designed for heavy-duty pickup trucks and SUVs, the new Blizzak LT has superior handling and control in "the toughest winter weather" compared to the Bridgestone Blizzak W965, says the company. It features the following:

  • A new rubber compound that was engineered to provide extended wear life.
  • An all-new tread pattern designed with 30% more biting edges than the Blizzak W965, which result in enhanced snow traction and greater water evacuation.
  • A smooth highway ride.

The Bridgestone Blizzak LT tire will be manufactured at the company’s passenger and light truck tire manufacturing facility in Joliette, Quebec. It is available in 11 sizes that the company says fits 93% of the light trucks on the road. It will start shipping to dealers in July 2018.
