Allison Transmission

FuelSense 2.0 with DynActive Shifting

Through a set of proprietary software enhancements, FuelSense 2.0 provides an infinitely variable combination of shift points. Rather than relying on duty-cycle helping fixed points on a shift table, innovative FuelSense 2.0 technology uses a learning algorithm to continuously find the ideal balance of fuel economy and performance to optimize vehicle efficiency.

Available packages are FuelSense 2.0, FuelSense 2.0 Plus and FuelSense 2.0 Max. All three include DynActive Shifting. FuelSense 2.0 Plus and Max include improved Neutral at Stop. FuelSense 2.0 Max includes enhanced Acceleration Rate Management.

Rugged Duty Series Transmission

Fully automatic Allison 3000 and 4000 transmissions from the Rugged Duty Series are built to deliver in the toughest conditions. Featuring Continuous Power Technology, Allison Automatics smoothly multiply engine torque to deliver more power to the wheels. By multiplying engine power, drivers get increased performance, faster acceleration, and greater operational flexibility.

While a manual or automated manual transmission (AMT) loses power with every shift, Allison transmissions increase power with every shift. By eliminating power interrupts and enabling fleets to operate at higher average speeds, an Allison-equipped vehicle – even with a smaller engine – achieves more loads per day for greater productivity.

Kinedyne, LLC

www.kinedyne.com • Booth #5301

Kin-Slider QR
Kinedyne’s Kin-Slider QR, the 30-second curtain-side vehicle access system, provides a faster and more efficient alternative for fleets with chassis-mounted truck bodies using rear- or side-mounted roll-up doors or traditional curtain-walled vehicles. The Kin-Slider can be added to virtually any truck body when ordering from an OEM. The Kin-Slider opens and closes at both ends of the truck body; Cargo can be fully accessed throughout the length of the vehicle and the curtain closed again within just 30 seconds. Side admission alone can increase cargo access between 300% and 1,000% on some vehicles. Faster cargo access also gives delivery vehicles greater flexibility and latitude when making deliveries in dense urban cores, on neighborhood cul-de-sacs, and everything in between.

Kin-Slider SR
Kinedyne’s Kin-Slider SR, the 30-second sliding roof system, has patented folding plates and can be paired with an extended range of aluminum rails or combined with other curtain-style products like Kinedyne’s Kin-Slider curtain-side vehicle access systems for total open access of the entire cargo compartment.
The sliding roof makes the loading and unloading of long cargo easy and convenient and allows the use of overhead cranes. Users can choose between a traditional rear-to-front sliding roof or a sliding roof that opens and closes at both ends. Special patented security accessories are also available.

Line-X

LINE-X ULTRA
LINE-X ULTRA is a versatile, durable polyurea that can be sprayed thinner than standard elastomer coatings while still maintaining strength and reliability. With an application thickness up to 20 mils, LINE-X ULTRA competes with traditional powder coating and industrial paint. In impact tests, LINE-X ULTRA outperformed industrial paint and powder coat. Compared to a powder coat, LINE-X ULTRA offers increased elongation/flexibility, is more durable and repairable, and its quick cure time (sets in 45 seconds and is tack-free in 3 to 6 minutes) helps return vehicles to service quickly. It is also UV-stable.

LINE-X Fire Rated Coating
Fire-rated aliphatic polyurea that provides outstanding flame & fire mitigation, UV stability with exceptional adhesion properties for high-abrasion, high-use environments at risk for flame or fire without the need of a UV-stable topcoat.

National Fleet Products

www.nationalfleetproducts.com • Booth #409

Spring-Assist ArtLift
National Fleet Products is introducing the ArtLift for the first time at 2018 Work Truck Show. Compared to hydraulic or pneumatic systems, the ArtLift is extremely lightweight but boasts a 440-pound lifting capacity that accommodates more than 98% of common freight. The system’s compact design fits delivery vehicles of all types and is particularly well suited to vans and small box trucks.

The ArtLift’s large, diamond-plate platform provides ample traction and is perfect for loading and unloading appliances or bulky equipment, and can even accommodate palletized freight. The platform’s beveled edge makes it easy to roll on loads using dollies, pallet trucks, carts, and any equipment with rollers.

Up and down buttons control the lift action and little training is needed compared to hydraulic and pneumatic liftgates. The lift platform flips vertically to a low profile and slides to store flat against sidewalls, bulkheads, or behind front seats.

WM System Loading Ramps for Rear- and Side-Doors
National Fleet Products’ WM System Loading Ramps are designed as a low-cost, maintenance-free alternative to hydraulic lift gates. WM System ramps are suitable for a wide array of vehicle applications, including everything from vans to box trucks to Class-8 trailers and service and delivery vehicles of all types.

The ramps are intelligently engineered to vertically stow just inside rear- and side-access doors and take up approximately 8.5 inches of depth when folded and locked. With their built-in spring-assist feature and sturdy side handles, they require only about 20 pounds of force and about five seconds to unfold or be folded back into their low-profile vertical storage position.

Sage Oil Vac

Sage Oil Vac NextLube Monitor System
The Sage Oil Vac NextLube monitor system improves mobile service technicians’ on-the-job productivity with an intuitive touch-screen display that simplifies adding and changing fluids while providing detailed information to the operator. The touchscreen automates tank fluid control, displays fluid levels in gallons instead of percentages, giving the operator the ability better label what fluids are in the onboard tanks and is much easier to learn how to use.

LubeBuilder Systems from Sage Oil Vac
Sage Oil Vac LubeBuilder systems deliver complete customization for building a dedicated mobile lube truck or adding lube capabilities to an existing vehicle. Each system is unique and created to serve the particular space and fleet needs. Fleet managers can choose the number of tanks, tank storage capacities and the placement of each tank within the truck/van bed. All systems come with fluid control panels that can be mounted at operator convenience.

Sage Oil Vac LubeBuilder systems will create better bed utilization with trailer-free flexibility and are a great mobile lube option for crane trucks, mechanics bodies, van bodies and enclosed bodies.

Webasto

www.webasto.com • Booth #2541

Thermo Top C Coolant Heaters
The Webasto Thermo Top C engine pre-heater warms the engine and fluids to optimum operating temperature before the engine is started and the day’s work begins. When operators start a pre-heated engine, they immediately get hot air from the HVAC system so they don’t have to wait for the engine to warm up. Using as little as one gallon of fuel in a 10-hour period, a Webasto Thermo Top C provides a pre-heated engine, as well as reduces engine wear, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions.

A Webasto engine pre-heater also delivers a fast ROI in form of reduced DPF maintenance. An engine pre-heater like the Thermo Top C will increase DPF performance, extend maintenance cycles, reduce filter overloading and minimize face plugging.

HVAC Kits
Climate control in vans and box truck cargo or mobile work areas can be difficult to maintain, particularly in challenging hot- and cold-weather conditions. Webasto has designed effective HVAC solutions that maintain operator comfort, while protecting cargo. Webasto offers tie-in heating and cooling solution kits that seamlessly integrate with Ford Transit, RAM ProMaster, and Mercedes Sprinter vans. The low-profile, high-performance kits come totally complete, are vehicle-specific in design and interface with native OEM HVAC systems.
For box trucks and vans with segregated cargo or workspaces, consider stand-alone kits that keep cargo and workers comfortable. The systems include rooftop or under-chassis mounted condenser options and a variety of mounting options for fuel-operated heaters with outputs of up to 18,700 BTU per hour.
