Diesel/Electric Trucks Drawing Attention

KNOXVILLE, TN – MHC Kenworth-Knoxville held an open house last Tuesday to show off a type of diesel/electric medium-duty truck it plans to stock, drawing a crowd of about 20-30 people representing several businesses and some local governments.

Daimler Closes Big ‘Green’ Vehicle Deal With UPS

SAN FRANCISCO – Daimler AG said United Parcel Service Inc. ordered 200 hybrid electric vehicles and 300 compressed natural gas vehicles in what the German automaker called the biggest sale of “green” trucks ever recorded.

Hybra-Drive Selected to Build Hydraulic Hybrid Truck for Testing
