Actron Pocket Scanner
CLEVELAND, OHIO - Actron, a seller of OBDII diagnostic tools, offers the new PocketScan Plus (Product Number CP9550) OBDII and CAN Code Reader for do-it-yourselfers and professional mechanics.
The PocketScan Plus is designed to automatically read Diagnostic Trouble Codes when connected to the vehicle for fast diagnostics, delivering more than 4,000 on screen code definitions for the user. Compatible with all 1996 and newer vehicles, the PocketScan Plus also provides Freeze Frame data, VIN information, MIL status and pending codes.
In addition, Actron's PocketScan Plus performs Inspection Maintenance (I/M) readiness testing - to ensure the vehicle's system has evaluated the emissions systems of the vehicle for proper operation - by displaying the I/M readiness monitor status on the screen.
"Our advanced diagnostic tool is ideal for use both before and after repairs are made, and its compact design allows for easy storage in a home or professional garage," said Jennifer Grabowski, product manager, Actron.
