The threat of inflation to the U.S. economy appears to be muted, with a report issued Wednesday showing consumer prices in August fell for the first time in 16 months.
According to the report, fuel consumption by construction companies in the U.S. was up 5.8% in January compared with the same month in 2012.
SOUTH PORTLAND, ME – Wright Express (WEX) has released the latest results of its Construction Fuel Consumption Index (FCI), which found an increase of 0.8% in June, 2012, when compared to June 2011.
SOUTH PORTLAND, ME - The FCI measures national fuel consumption statistics for the construction industry. The April FCI was also up 4.5% over the same period in 2011.
