One Nexus Group said its acquisition of Commercial Truck Training elevates its offering of pioneering dealership fleet/commercial sales techniques within the US.
Total fleet sales for the entirety of 2020 — which is comprised of commercial, rental, and government sales — came in at 1,684,879 units.
Commercial fleet sales from nine manufacturers totaled 47,942 in November 2020, representing a 11.8% overall decrease when compared to the same time last year, though this was an improvement over what was reported the previous month in October.
Total fleet sales for the month — which is comprised of commercial, rental, and government sales — came in at 101,159, which represented a 51% drop from the same time last year.
Commercial fleet sales from nine manufacturers totaled 53,628 in June 2020, representing a 26% decrease when compared to the same time last year, though the declines are not as significant as seen in the last two months, which were both more than 65% drops.
Thanks to the strong economy that the U.S. is enjoying, U.S. commercial companies have been able to invest more money into their fleets, and strong fleet sales are a reflection of that.
While growth is expected, most fleet managers are concerned with the ROI than with the technology and are targeting a payback term of less than three years, according to a report from Navigant Research.
