BMW is shifting production of its 3 Series entry luxury sedan to a new plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, starting in 2019, BMW has announced.

BMW has added to its diesel legacy with the 328d's 2.0L, four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo Diesel engine — a first for the U.S. market — which produces 180 hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,750 rpm. When mated to the 8-speed automatic transmission, the combination achieves a 7-second 0-60 mph lapse time.
The SUVs and luxury cars covered by the recall may have defective bolts holding a component on the six-cylinder engine.

Avis Rent a Car Southern Africa has introduced a new range of vehicles to its fleet with the addition of the Mercedes-Benz E250 CDI sedan and E250 convertible, and the Ford ST3.
BMW showed its new 328d Sedan, which is powered by the automaker’s 2.0L TwinPower diesel four-cylinder engine, at the New York International Auto Show.
The automaker is pricing the new model at a starting MSRP of $33,445 (including the $895 destination and handling charge).
BMW priced the ActiveHybrid 3 at an MSRP of $50,195, including destination and handling.
