Ford Motor Co. is recalling 887 2014-model year Ford Transit Connect vehicles in the U.S. so dealers can reinstall panoramic sunroofs, the automaker said.

The recalled vehicles may have a faulty bond between the panoramic roof and the vehicle body, resulting in wind noise, water leaks, or even roof separation in some cases. Such separation would increase of the risk of crash or injury, Ford said in a released statement.

Ford, however, noted the company isn’t aware of any accidents or injuries associated with the issue.

Ford dealers will remove, clean, and reinstall the panoramic roof to address the problem. There will be no charge for this service.

The vehicles under recall were manufactured at Valencia Assembly Plant from Oct. 4, 2013, to July 14, 2014.

In addition to the Transit Connect vehicles recalled in the U.S., Ford is recalling 28 in Canada for the same problem. Globally, a total of 2,592 Ford Transit Connect vehicles will be recalled for this problem.
