A line worker with Minn.-based electric cooperative Stearns Electric Association is still in the intensive care unit (ICU) a week after falling from a collapsed bucket truck.

Grant Wenker, a journey lineman with the electric cooperative, was working at a job site on August 4 when the boom arm of his bucket truck detached from the vehicle. Wenker sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Stearns Electric Association said it is doing all it can to support Wenker and his family. An investigation of the accident conducted by the cooperative concluded that no electrical contact was involved in the accident.
