Several utilities made it into this year’s 2014 Sustainability Yearbook, a report that publicly recognizes companies that have excelled in corporate sustainability.

Published by RobecoSAM, an investment specialist focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing, the yearbook looks back at companies’ performance in 2013 and ranks them based on their sustainability process. The top performing company from each of the 59 industries is named the RobecoSAM Industry Leader.

Companies listed in the Yearbook are classified into three categories: RobecoSAM Gold Class, RobecoSAM Silver Class, and RobecoSAM Bronze Class. This year, 818 companies from 39 different countries participated.
