SANTA ANA, CA -- The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has issued an Executive Order (EO) on Greenkraft Inc’s 2012 dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems on General Motors 14,000 lbs. GVRW and above 4.8L V-8 engine. Greenkraft, Inc is a manufacturer of alternative fuel systems for use in transportation applications. In addition, the GM engine can be installed in 14,000 trucks and above as a repower to run on CNG, instead of diesel which can help reduce the cost of fuel for fleet operators.

“The CARB certification is especially important because several states have either adopted or are in the process of adopting California's emissions standards said Frank Ziegler, Director of Sales”. These states include New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Maryland and Florida.

Greenkraft also manufacturers a full line of cab forward trucks that will be introducing to the USA market that are dedicated CNG and range from 14,000 to 33,000 GVRW.
