BARTLETT, IL - Auto Truck Group, an upfitter specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of truck equipment, in an effort to give back to the communities that have contributed to their success, is involved in several community initiatives this holiday season.

“In 2012, Auto Truck Group experienced tremendous growth, and that is
due in no small part to the local communities in which we operate,” says
Auto Truck president Jim Dondlinger. “Despite this still challenging
economy, we have been fortunate enough to be able to assist in giving
back to those that have supported us throughout the year, and we hope
that in doing so, all of us can have a happy, healthy holiday season.”
Among the organizations Auto Truck partnered with this holiday season
was the United Way, raising and donating more than $60,000 to the
organization. This marks the second year Auto Truck has joined with the
United Way to “Live United” and make a difference through that
organization’s focus on education, income and heath.

Auto Truck also served as a donation site for the DuPage County chapter of Toys for Tots and donated more than 1,000 toy trucks to the organization on behalf of their customers and employees. This marks the third year Auto Truck has worked with Toys for Tots and the Bartlett, Ill., Fire Department, collecting and donating toys to be distributed to the community. All told, Auto Truck has been working to collect and donate toys for underprivileged children during the holiday season for more than 10 years.

“We will continue to accept donations from employees and the community,” mentions Dondlinger. “As we continue to expand our organization, we look forward to participating in many more community
programs in years to come.”
