TREVOSE, PA - The CEI Group, Inc. (CEI) announced that Luann Dunkerley, national sales manager of truck fleet services and a veteran of the trucking industry, has been elected to the Board of Governors of the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) Institute.

Dunkerley's election coincides with CEI being invited to become an NPTC Five-Star Member, one of 30 national companies that provide major support for the organization.  Ms. Dunkerley joined NPTC in 2010 and also serves on its safety committee.

The Institute is the NPTC's continuing education and research arm. As one of its 48 governors, she will be involved in overseeing the Institute's policies and procedures regarding research, training, education and certification and making recommendations to the NPTC board of directors.

"Luann has years of hands-on experience addressing carriers' concerns and needs," said Rick Westerlund, CEI national director of sales and marketing.  "Her position will enable her to share perspectives with the managers of some of the biggest fleets in the trucking world. We look forward to being an active partner with the NPTC in promoting the interests and expanding the expertise of private truck fleets."

Dunkerley came to CEI in 2008, after a long career with Ryder System, Inc., a global provider of transportation, logistics and supply chain management.  In her last position at Ryder, she was a Market Development Manager based in Philadelphia, PA, with responsibility for leasing and financing programs for targeted accounts in the Delaware Valley.

CEI provides collision repair support services to truck fleets in the U.S. and Canada. Through a managed network of more than 800 truck collision centers, it handles repairs on all truck types, from Class 3 through Class 8.  Its truck services also include accident reporting, 24/7 towing, audited repair estimates, repair cycle time management, subrogation, salvage disposal and online access to all accident repair program data.
