COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA - Tim Confer has been named Regional Manager for Omaha Standard taking on responsibilities for distributor development and territory management activities within the southeastern region.

Confer has served within the truck equipment industry since 1987. His level of professionalism, high-energy level and overall commitment have always defined his strong reputation in the market.

Omaha Standard, established in 1926, is a manufacturer of service/utility bodies, platform bodies, hydraulic hoists, hydraulic liftgates, and other equipment for commercial trucks and markets its products through 175 truck equipment distributors across the country, as well as in Mexico and Canada. In 2008 Omaha Standard was acquired by PALFINGER.

The PALFINGER North America Group was formed following PALFINGER's acquisitions of MBB Interlift, Omaha Standard Inc and Automated Waste Equipment.
