TORRANCE, CA – Seventeen percent of commercial fleet managers earned more than $100,000 per year in 2008, with 8-percent earning more than $120,000, according to a soon-to-be released compensation survey conducted by Automotive Fleet.
The full survey will be published in the May 2009 issue of Automotive Fleet.
Some notable finds in this year's survey include:
- Fleet managers in the Midwest earned the highest median salary.
- Fleet managers with some post-graduate study earned the highest median salary.
- Only 14 percent of fleet managers were paid less than $50,000 in 2008.
