Navistar is recalling approximately 13,570 International LT and International HX trucks due to a potential poor electrical connection in the brake lights.

On the recalled 2019-2020 model-year International LT and 2018-2021 International HX vehicles, the brake light switch may have a weak solder joint, possibly resulting in a poor electrical contact and inoperative brake lights – or brake lights that stay on.

Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake light switch, free of charge. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at (800) 448-7825.

The recall is expected to begin May 18, 2020.

Navistar's number for this recall is 20501.
