Fleet FAQ? Fleet Management & Leasing

Q. How do I keep drivers informed of emergency procedures?

A. Just as with all other fleet policies, drivers should be provided with a clear understanding of emergency procedures on day one. Make sure you distribute your emergency plan and protocols to all locations and drivers, and regularly remind drivers of emergency resources, such as roadside assistance and insurance contact information. In addition, prepare an emergency communications plan for the field that identifies when emergency protocols are activated and who is responsible for communicating next steps and updates to locations and drivers.
