J.J. Keller has developed a Human Trafficking Awareness training program for commercial truck drivers. Human Trafficking Awareness for Drivers will empower drivers to help fight human trafficking by educating them on what it is and what to look for.

Commercial drivers are in a unique position that allows them to be present at common trafficking places such as truck stops, rest areas, and gas stations, the company said.

The training will help drivers understand the importance and risk of human trafficking. It will teach them to respond accordingly when they suspect it’s taking place. The program is available in an English or Spanish DVD program, as well as pay-per-view and online course formats.

This initiative comes as more states, including Colorado, Alabama, and Kansas, are passing laws making it mandatory for commercial truck drivers to receive human trafficking training before being able to obtain their commercial drivers licenses.
