Dayton Part’s has launched a line of spiral king pin kits called Truefit Express, joining the company’s steer axle product line that includes a range of replacement steering solutions for commercial vehicles.

The Truefit Express king pin features spiral grooves to facilitate grease delivery to high-wear areas. For simplified maintenance, the kits are inclusive of no-ream bushings and a simple to use t-handle tool for quick, consistent installation.

“The bushing is engineered to match the king pin providing a proper fit even if the king pin bore has small imperfections,” said Jason Miller, product manager, steering and trailer parts, for Dayton Parts. “The combination of features offers the performance of a standard bi-metal king pin set getting a vehicle back on the road even faster than previous “no-ream” style king pin sets, saving both time and money for the end-user.”

Truefit Express king pins and bushings are made of durable alloy steel that meets or exceeds OEM standards, according to Dayton. The kits are available for a variety of vehicles and fit multiple axle applications. The initial offering consists of 21 king pin sets which will cover approximately 90% of the market.
