TBEI Names New Vice President

Truck Bodies and Equipment International, Inc. (TBEI), a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, announced Jason LaPlante has been named vice president of product and service technology. LaPlante has more than 30 years of engineering and operations management experience with leading heavy construction, agricultural, and high-tech equipment manufacturing companies.

LaPlante will lead both the TBEI Engineering and Sales and Marketing departments. His responsibilities will include directing new product development, leading the commercial and technical teams, and supporting the innovation process across the organization. His proven leadership and significant experience in engineering, product management, sales, and business process strategy will be instrumental in TBEI’s continued success.

LaPlante most recently served as Director of Sales for the Midwest region at LeverX and has more than 30 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility with diverse companies in the equipment manufacturing and transportation industries including Tennant Company, McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, and Schwing America, Inc.
