Maxxima has introduced the MaxxHeat series of LED headlamps and stop/tail/turn lights lens with heating that is automatically triggered by cold temperatures.

The MaxxHeat series of lamps features a microprocessor that initiates the lens heating system when the outside air temperature drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

“The MaxxHeat series resolves the issue of snow and ice buildup on the lens surface due to the lack of heat produced by LEDs compared to other lamps,” said Greg Parman, National Sales Manager.

MaxxHeat is available on Maxxima Vionic LED headlights in three sizes: 4 x 6 inches, 5 x 7 inches, and 7-inch diameter. Maxxima’s Vionic line is available in high, low, and dual-beam models.

The MaxxHeat STT series of stop/tail/turn lights is designed for commercial truck, bus, and trailer applications. The six-diode lights with the MaxxHeat lens are available in round (4.3-inch diameter) and oval (6.4 x 2.2 x 1.7 inches) configurations. MaxxHeat headlights and stop/tail/turn lights are available through Maxxima’s network of aftermarket distributors in the United States and Canada.
