The Toolgate is a tool storage solution that bolts on to the lift gate of a light-duty pickup truck. The Toolgate comes with a lift assist and divider system to help open the lid and organize tool storage. The Toolgate doesn't replace the big box, but rather acts as a complement that help workers retrieve small hand tools without needing to dig around. The Toolgate was created by a local inventor in Joplin, Mo., and is scheduled for production in the fall. The Toolgate retails for $375.
