Highway Products' new Strongback flatbed for pickup trucks gets a new Leopard design bed made with rugged marine-grade aluminum that's 50% lighter than steel. The flatbed allows greater payloads and increases fuel economy. The flatbed features structural T6 extruded C-channel side rails 1/8-inch diamond plate decking, 4-inch sills and cross members on 12-inch centers, a 3-inch aluminum head board and rear tail apron, and rope hooks every 24 inches. Optional features include a 30,000-pound combo fifth wheel/gooseneck ball hitch; directional light boxes on the head board; load lights; concealed hinged cover for hitch area; Class 5 receiver hitch; seven-pin trailer plug; electric brake controller; full-length lighted running boards; removable side and back rails; 2x4 stake pockets; mud flaps; Air-Ride suspension systems; lumber racks; fuel tanks; winches; LED lights; on-deck and underbody tool boxes.
