Fleet FAQ? Fleet Management & Leasing

Q. Can vehicle upfitting improve driver safety and reduce vehicle accidents?

A. Yes. A properly spec'd upfit design can help reduce driver injuries, and insurance and liability claims. Aftermarket equipment such as grab handles, step bumpers, side steps, and drop-down ladder racks can reduce driver strain and fatigue while also improving efficiency. Additional safety equipment such as rearview and/or side camera systems, exterior warning lights, lane departure avoidance systems, front and rear sensing systems, back-up alarms, and spot mirrors can also increase driver visibility and awareness.
