Hyundai's newly announced Nexo fuel-cell EV (FCEV) was listed as one of the top products in the auomotive space in 2018 at the recent Consumer Electronic Show (CES).
The FCEV was awarded for its 370-mile range, which offers the same level of sturdiness as a gas-powered engine, the automaker said. It was one of 14 products to be recognized by the Digital Trends Top Tech of CES out of the tens of thousands displayed at this year’s expo.
Digital Trends Top Tech of CES award entries are judged by editors who specialize in innovation, design, and practicality, Hyundai said in a release.
Nexo is Hyundai’s second-generation of commercialized fuel cell electric vehicle that will be available in select markets around the world starting in early 2018, the automaker said. The Nexo’s 370 mile range is an improvement of 105 miles over Tucson FCEV, the Nexo's predecessor.
