More than 1,000 Pacific Gas & Electric customers in Northern California lost power this week after a city-owned utility truck hit multiple power poles, reports CBS.

A City of West Sacramento-owned vacuum truck was working to fix a water service break when the truck’s boom knocked down eight power poles, reports Fox40. Shortly after the incident, PG&E crews went to work restoring the damage for nearly 24 hours before power was restored.
