On July 17th, Altec participated in the Made in America product showcase at the White House. The event was a kick-off of President Trump’s initiative to highlight and celebrate the importance of manufacturing for economic growth in the U.S. and job creation opportunities for American workers.

Leading manufacturers from around the country were invited to participate in the event, which highlighted a U.S.-made product from each of the 50 states. Altec was one of the featured manufacturers at the event, showcasing an Altec AN67 Aerial Device at the front entrance to the White House.

“Altec was honored to be asked to help represent the outstanding manufacturers throughout the country at the Made in America product showcase at the White House”, said Lee Styslinger III, Altec chairman and CEO. “I was particularly pleased with the event’s message to celebrate the American worker and the important contribution each of them makes to the success of this nation.”

Altec is a leading equipment and service provider for the electric utility, telecommunications, contractor, lights and signs, and tree care markets. The company provides products and services in more than 100 countries throughout the world.
