Commercial vehicle power product supplier Vanner has hired Carl Postiglione as business development manager for its Revolution technology.
Revolution is Vanner's newest technology for vehicle accessory electrification and engine-off operation.
Postiglione comes to Vanner from Saft America, a leading North American lithium-ion battery manufacturer. He was responsible for product development, marketing, and sales growth for Saft's ultracapacitor program as business development manager.
He brings more than 25 years of experience in product development in automotive and military markets. He has authored and presented many papers for technical conferences and trade shows, along with publishing several articles in industry magazines.
Postiglione brings an electrical engineering degree and experience as a technician, application engineer, and sales and marketing manager in the automotive electrical segment.
His technical and industry knowledge will assist Revolution's development and launch this year in the school bus market. He will guide Revolution's expansion into shuttle bus, ambulance, refrigeration, and other market segments, according to Vanner.
