The City & County of San Francisco, Calif., is hiring a senior administrative analyst to join its Fleet Management – Central Shops Department.

The senior administrative analyst plans, organizes, leads and/or participates in analytical work related to fleet management. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing analytical work, developing benchmarks, measuring performance, coordinating/conducting trainings, reporting findings and presenting recommendations to management, departments, officials, and stakeholders. The analyst will also play a key role in the department’s Healthy Air and Clean Transportation initiatives to optimize municipal fleet utilization by leveraging technologies such as telematics, vehicle on-demand systems, and others.

The candidate must have a Master’s degree and at least two years of related work experience or a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of related work experience.

Salary for the position begins at $88,900. The filing deadline is Oct. 12.

The department provides fleet services to over 70 departments with a combined fleet total of approximately 7,000 units. The department’s clients include the Police, Fire, Public Works, Recreation and Parks, and others.  The fleet’s vehicle and equipment list range from small electric carts to fire engines to highly specialized equipment.
