Hino Trucks has opened a parts distribution center and training center in Ontario, Calif., as part of an expansion of its U.S.-based operations, the company announced.

The parts distribution center is the second U.S. parts location and is expected to increase the effectiveness of Hino’s dealer network by improving parts availability and distribution as well as support to the company’s western region dealers.

The new facility also includes a training center that is an extension of the Hino National Training Center in Novi, Mich., to support the company’s growing dealer network.

“We are so proud of opening this location that represents a milestone for Hino as we expand our focus and efforts to support our customers’ needs regionally,” said George Daniels, senior vice president of sales and customer support for Hino Trucks. “ Not only will the West Coast benefit, but the entire country will benefit from increased capacity and scheduling flexibility.”

Hino Trucks is a Toyota Group company that assembles, sells and services a lineup of Class 4-7 conventional and cabover commercial trucks in the U.S.
