FCA US is recalling 188,047 Ram 1500 Quad Cab trucks in the 2014 and 2015 model years because the side air bag inflatable curtains may not fully overlap the C-pillars during a crash, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

Because of this problem, the trucks don’t comply with all federal safety standards. The recall covers trucks manufactured from Aug. 26, 2013, to Aug. 8 of this year, NHTSA said.

The remedy for this recall is still under development, NHTSA said, and FCA US hasn’t yet provided a schedule for notifying affected truck owners.

However, truck owners can reach FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) US at (800) 853-1403. The company’s number for this recall is R47.
