Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), cooperating with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV) under the umbrella of Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA), has launched five medium-duty truck (FI 1217C dump; FI 1217R cargo, and FJ 1523C ready mixed concrete) and heavy-duty truck (FJ 2528R cargo; and FZ 4928T tractor) models.

This is an effort to expand the all-new robust, fuel-efficient FUSO range in order to give customers a wider choice of vehicles, adding to the heavy-duty FJ concrete mixer – the first model of the range launched in Thailand in May 2015, according to Fuso.

The trucks will come with customer service that includes a two-year warranty and 24-hour roadside assistance, according to the automaker.

The newly-launched models are produced at the state-of-the art DICV plant in Chennai, India, and exported from there to Thailand, according to Fuso.

In Thailand, the trucks are sold and marketed by Fuso Truck Company Limited, a100-percent subsidiary of Tan Chong International Limited, which also assembles and distributes some FUSO models coming from Japan, according to the company.
