Terex is recalling 120 2015 model-year front discharge concrete mixer trucks because the concrete mixing drum is at risk for separating from the vehicle, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.

The recall covers trucks manufactured from April 1 to June 23 of this year. The bolts that secure the concrete mixing drum to the drum drive plate may not have been properly tightened, NHTSA said.

To fix the problem, dealers will install new bolts using a thread locker, after removing the paint from under the fasteners. Dealers will complete these repairs free of charge.

Truck owners can reach Terex customer service at (800) 433-6691.
