Toyota vehicles have been named as the Best Retained Value among automotive brands in 2015 in the non-luxury category, Edmunds.com has announced.

The awards recognize vehicles with the highest projected private party residual value five years after their launch. For 2015, Toyota vehicles should retain an average of 52.4 percent residual value. Edmunds.com named Acura vehicles as the top luxury brand with a retained value of 46.9 percent.

GMC, Subaru and Honda were given honorable mention in non-luxury, while Lexus and Porsche were named honorable mention for luxury.

Edmunds.com also named 24 vehicle category winners, including 10 cars, eight SUVs, three trucks, and three vans. The Ram Promaster cargo van won large commercial van, while the Ford Transit Connect won small commercial van. The Ford F-350 Super Duty won Heavy Duty Truck, while the Toyota Tundra and Toyota Tacoma won large truck and midsize truck.
