Knapheide has signed a partnership agreement with Gruau to distribute the European upfitter’s commercial van products in North America. The agreement will cover distribution of Gruau’s IsoVan product line and retractable crew seating systems.
Gruau sought out the partnership as part of a plan to export its experience with “Euro” style vans to the U.S. where several global vans have been gaining popularity in the North American markets. Gruau’s IsoVan product line is comprised of the IsoTemp and IsoChem refrigeration and isolation upfits. The company is also bringing to market its Confo-Cab and Repli-Cab crew seating systems.
Standard versions of its IsoVan products are available for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and upcoming Metris, Ford Transit and Transit Connect, Chevrolet City Express and Nissan NV200.
“We are excited with our new partnership with Gruau,” said Bo Knapheide, senior vice president of Knapheide. “Combining Gruau’s product expertise along with Knapheide’s installation and distribution footprint will allow for unique and efficient work solutions for today’s new van offerings.”
