The expanded Fleet Technology Expo website has officially launched. The website breaks down the three-day event that will be held at the Long Beach Convention Center from Aug. 24-26 and also provides a schedule-at-a-glance and other valuable show information.

While registration for the conference is set to open later in March, visitors can navigate through crucial topics including information for exhibitors and attendees, hotel and travel accommodations, news and event updates, and information on the all-new Fleet Technology Expo Awards.

The FTX Awards recognize fleets for their sustainability and efficiency practices. The top 10 fleets will be selected in each of the four categories, and extra recognition will be given to the top three fleets. Nominations will open on April 20 and close on May 25.

Throughout the course of FTX, attendees will get to sit in on educational sessions broken up by three separate tracks: Green Fleet, Fleet Analytics and Heavy Duty. Each session is based off real-world questions fleet managers are asking when it comes to emerging technologies and how to become a more efficient and sustainable fleet. Detailed descriptions on the panels and sessions will be added soon.

The exhibit hall hours for Tuesday, August 25 will be broken up into two different sessions. The first takes place from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m., and the second session takes place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Day two of the conference will also give attendees another chance to see each exhibitor with another dedicated expo session from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The exhibit hall will feature fuel-efficient vehicles, consulting services, oil filtration technology, fleet management solutions, commercial car and truck financing and many other companies.

Attendees will also get to test drive vehicles with the latest alternative-fuel technologies on an open course. Be sure to check back to the site to see the full list of vehicles available at this year’s Ride and Drive Event.

This is the first FTX and is an expansion of the Green Fleet Conference and Expo. You can read an editorial on why we made this decision here.
