Reading Truck Body has introduced the Isuzu NPR ECO-MAX work truck with Tool-Pro body. The truck is on display at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis.

The Tool-Pro aluminum body offers "plenty of room to store a wide variety of equipment," according to Reading. It offers a reinforced understructure, hidden hinge technology, rear access doors, Dual-Pro door seals, galvanized shelving, LED lighting and a nitrogen strut door. The truck gets Reading's E-Coast primer and powder-coat finish. Its aluminum material provides as much as a 50 percent weight savings over comparable steel bodies, which yields up to 10 percent in fuel savings.

The body offers a B-10 rating of 310,000 miles. The truck is powered by Isuzu's 4J four-cylinder diesel engines, including the 4JJ1-TC 3.0-liter DOHC turbo diesel that produces 150 hp and 292 lb.-ft. of torque.

The vehicle is initially available exclusively through authorized Isuzu dealers. It will also be offered from authorized Reading Truck Body distributors.
