The NTEA, the Association for the Work Truck Industry, has just released a new resource: the OEM Monthly Chassis Report. This report features analysis into the monthly box-off truck chassis shipments and sales data provided to NTEA by chassis OEMs – providing companies with a unique set of information about incomplete commercial units that are entering the market for upfitting. This data can help companies effectively respond and react to market changes in a timely manner.

“This Report leverages our relationships with work truck OEMs and allows us share a focused analysis of box-off truck chassis data with our members,” said NTEA Executive Director Steve Carey. “We’re pleased to provide our industry with information that is pertinent to their business planning.”

Through the OEM Monthly Chassis Report, key statistics and significant findings are brought forward – all to help work truck industry professionals stay up-to-date and sharpen their competitive edge.

Included in each issue are the number of box-off and incomplete commercial chassis shipped and sold within NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) countries, with data presented by cab type and weight class segments. The Report also analyzes how differences between shipments and sales affect chassis available for upfit, and provides insight into how market fluctuations can affect sales trends. The Report provides:

  • Monthly Industry Overview
  • U.S. / Mexico Chassis Sales
  • Non-Conventional Cab Chassis Sales in NAFTA Countries
  • Canadian Chassis Sales
  • Inventory Trends and Insights
  • Commercial Truck Segment Analysis
  • Looking Ahead
