A panel of heavy-duty truck maker representatives will discuss what they're doing to meet greenhouse gas/fuel economy regulations for 2014 and beyond, the current and future status of alternative fuels, hybrid/electric and more at the Green Fleet Conference Oct. 2 in Phoenix.

The session is scheduled for 2:15-3:05 p.m. Moderated by the experts at Heavy Duty Trucking magazine, the panel will include:

  • Andy Douglas, Kenworth.
  • Nadine Haupt, Navistar.
  • Roy Horton, Mack Trucks.
  • Krzysztof Hus, Daimler Trucks North America.
  • Bill Kahn, Peterbilt.

The two-day conference features a Truck Track this year for the first time. Other sessions will cover natural gas, biodiesel, idle reduction and the ROI of green fleet strategies.

Other highlights of the conference at the Phoenix Convention Center include a green vehicle Ride and Drive event, an exhibit hall, general and keynote speakers on topics such as practical ways to expand sustainability efforts, funding opportunities, and the Clean Cities program, plus additional break-out sessions.
