Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) announced that Orin Black, the company’s long-time Vice President, Dealer Operations and Chief Administrative Officer, retired effective July 1, 2013.

Black began his more than 25-year career with MFTA as manager, Dealer Operations on April 1, 1987.

Black began his more than 25-year career with MFTA as manager, Dealer Operations on April 1, 1987. He continued in Dealer Operations until September 1, 1996 when he was promoted to controller. As MFTA continued to grow, and in order to use the full impact of his financial and dealer operations experience, the company promoted Black to vice president, Business Operations in January 2003. Less than two years later, in October 2005, Black was named to his current position, which increased his responsibility further and made him an officer of the company.

According to Todd Bloom, MFTA’s President and CEO, “For more than twenty-five years, Orin has been a dedicated and tireless member of the management of this company. His experience, dedication, and his broad knowledge of our industry and of our operations will be sorely missed. We wish Orin and his wife, Marcia, our best wishes as they begin the next phase of their life together.”
