Hendrickson's Next Generation Haulmaax EX heavy-duty rubber suspension is now available on Mack TerraPro and Mack LR model cabover trucks.
Haulmaax EX is designed for trucks that operate both on-and off-highway. The suspension’s equalizing beam distributes the load equally between both axles in off-road and uneven terrain conditions and provides 17 inches of diagonal articulation.
The design eliminates fixed-center bushing pivot points to reduce wheel hop. An integrated jounce stop provides overload protection to maximize the life of the progressive load springs and bolster springs, Hendrickson officials said in a press release.
The tire clearance was increased on Haulmaax EX to include packages with 315 tires and 9-inch steel wheels while continuing to meet the SAE standard for tire chain clearance.
The Haulmaax was previously released to be available on Autocar as well as several other makes of vocational trucks.
