There are several truck-related recalls, including Ford, Daimler Truck North America, and Toyota.

The recall info as of May 23, 2022 is as follows: 

  • Recall 22S35: Ford Motor Company is recalling approximately 310,203 model-year 2016 Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 vehicles. Dust may accumulate in the steering wheel clock spring, causing a disconnection in the electrical connection, resulting in the driver air bag not deploying as intended. Dealers will replace the steering wheel clock spring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 5, 2022.
  • Recall FL-933: Daimler Trucks North America, LLC is recalling approximately 185 model-year 2020 Freightliner Cascadia, 2020-2022 Western Star 4700 and 5700, 2022 Western Star 4900, and 2020-2023 Freightliner New Cascadia vehicles. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the Federal Certification Label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification." 
  • Recall FL-932: Daimler Trucks North America, LLC is recalling approximately 24 model-year 2022 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles. The antilock brakes (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC) may be manually disabled. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 121, "Air Brake Systems," and 136, "Electronic Stability Control Systems on Heavy Vehicles." Dealers will correct this feature, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 14, 2022. 
  • Recall FL-934: Daimler Trucks North America, LLC is recalling approximately 19 model-year 2021-2022 FCCC MT50e walk-in vans. The rotary shift position knob may malfunction, which can cause an unintended shift to drive. Dealers will inspect and repair the stalk switch right shifter, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 14, 2022. Dealers will inspect and repair the stalk switch right shifter, as necessary, free of charge.   • Recall 22R1: Gulf States Toyota, Inc. is recalling approximately 661 model-year 2022 4Runner, Tacoma, Highlander, and Highlander Hybrid vehicles. The load carrying capacity modification labels may not be permanent and can fade, becoming illegible. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." GST will notify owners by mail, including a replacement load carrying capacity modification label for their vehicle and detailed replacement instructions, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 27, 2022.
