Navistar’s new San Antonio Manufacturing Plant in Texas is designed to be a “benchmark” facility in terms of sustainability and the latest data-driven manufacturing techniques. The company said it’s taking actions to reduce the environmental impact of its manufacturing operations, with the goal of becoming zero carbon, and the plant reflects that, with the ability to produce both electric and combustion vehicles as well as being an energy-saving facility in itself.
