Bailey, who previously served as senior vice president of Proterra Energy, succeeds Gareth Joyce. Joyce was promoted to president of Proterra last month.

Proterra promoted Chris Bailey to president of its Proterra Powered and Energy business units to lead the company's growing business as a provider of electric vehicle technology to commercial manufacturers and charging infrastructure solutions for heavy-duty electric fleets. 

Bailey, who previously served as senior vice president of Proterra Energy, succeeds Gareth Joyce. Joyce was promoted to president of Proterra last month.

Proterra Powered leverages Proterra’s electric vehicle technology and expertise to help commercial vehicle manufacturers electrify their vehicles. Proterra Energy offers a "turn-key approach" to delivering the complete energy ecosystem for heavy-duty electric fleets including charging infrastructure design, build, financing, operations, maintenance and energy optimization.
